'Recce', starring Siva Balaji, Aadakalam Naren, Sriram and others, is a Zee5 web series. Streaming since the midnight of June 16, the 7-episode series has been directed by Krishna Poluru.
The makers have said that the crime thriller is garnering positive reviews all over. "When the director narrated the story, it was exciting to listen to. The cast and crew fell in place and the director could therefore bring out the best. The story takes place in the early 1990s in the Rayalaseema backdrop. Zee5 has always encouraged local talent," said Anuradha, an official from the OTT platform.
Producer KV Sriram said that director Krishna Poluru has designed the story the right way. "Recently, star director Anil Ravipudi garu praised our web series," he added.
Krishna Poluru said, "The series begins with a gruesome murder. How the murder was planned and executed is exciting to watch. I thank my team on this occasion."
Actor Sriram, who has played a cop in the series, said, "The dialogues and sensibilities, together with cinematography and music, have worked in favour of 'Recce'. I thank the whole team on this occasion."
Actor Siva Balaji said, "It has been a long while since I tasted success. When this offer came my way, I had my doubts. Had I not done this series, I would have regretted it my whole life."
Ester Noronha has played a housewife in the movie.
