On Tuesday, Manchu Vishnu accused an unnamed actor of instigating his troll army to harass him and his family members online in the run-up to the elections to the Movie Artists Association in 2021.
At a presser promoting 'Ginna', Vishnu revealed that the IP addresses of the trolls have been traced by the Cyber crime department of Hyderabad. The addresses have been mentioned in a submission made to a court.
Vishnu made an explosive allegation that a "prominent actor" let his office be used as the epicenter of online harassment for several months. The office is located in Jubilee Hills. A software company housed 21 paid trolls, Vishnu alleged.
The accusations are sensational. It is a matter of speculation now as to who the prominent actor is.
