The Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2023 event was held in Goa the other day. On Sunday, a few Sandalwood film celebs said that they faced insult and humiliation during the conduct of the event under the aegis of senior journalist and publisher Suresh Kondeti. With some media reports describing Suresh Kondeti of Santosham Magazine fame as a publicist close to Megastar Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind on Monday appeared in front of the media and distanced the Mega family from Kondeti.
"That awards event is a private event. It has nothing to do with Telugu film industry. That person is not an official PRO of Chiranjeevi. Where did we ever say he is one?" the Geetha Arts supremo asked, adding that the personal failing of Kondeti to hold the awards event the right way shouldn't be seen as the failing of the Telugu film industry as a whole.
Allu Aravind not only indicated that the Mega family has nothing to do with Kondeti but also subtly urged the Kannada film celebs and media not to blame the Telugu film industry for what happened at the Goa event.
