Vyjayanthi Movies has brought out the first glimpse of Nag Ashwin's 'Project K', which has been titled 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The sci-fi project, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is touted to boast a "visionary concept". The glimpse video, in which Prabhas comes across as a self-absorbed saviour, is also high on spellbinding visuals.
A Western-looking character, towards the end of the video, asks what Project K is. Followed by a forceful wielding of a weapon by the 'Baahubali' actor, we see the title appear in style. "The film seamlessly blends futuristic elements with rich storytelling," the makers said.
Also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan (as the antagonist), Deepika Padukone (seen in the glimpse in an anxious state) and Disha Patani, the film is expected to break new ground on the sci-fi front.
With cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
