Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'OG' is one of the most awaited movies of the year. It might hit the cinemas in December this year. Director Sujeeth Reddy has completed a schedule in Mumbai and Hyderabad already.
The news is that Arjun Das of 'Kaithi' (Tamil), 'Butta Bomma' fame has been onboarded for a key role. DVV Entertainment, sharing the news on Saturday, tweeted, "#OG will become even more vibrant with your powerful tone and presence."
'Gang Leader' fame Priyanka Mohan is the film's heroine. SS Thaman (music director), Ravi K Chandran (director of photography), and AS Prakash (production designer) are working on the project.
As for Arjun Das, he is likely playing a positive role in 'OG'. "Unless something irresistible comes my way, I am no longer inclined to do negative roles. I am sticking more to lead roles these days. If I have to do a negative part, it has to be really different," he said in an interview earlier this year. "People in Tollywood know me because of films like Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' and also the Netflix release 'Andhaghaaram' (2020). I watched a number of Telugu movies in Chennai with English subs. The industry here is growing in size and stature," he added.
