'Jawan', starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee, is slated to hit the cinemas on September 7 in Hindi, Telugu and other languages. Its teaser is ready to be released soon.
The news is that T-Series has acquired the film's music rights by shelling out an astronomical Rs 36 Cr. As per a source associated with the movie's team, the competition for the rights was intense. The high-value Rs 36 Cr deal has stunned those who track Indian cinema.
Thousands of SRK's fans took to social media to say that the second-best audio deal in Indian cinema must have fetched half this amount. "The 'Pathaan' actor is unparalleled. The songs in 'Jawan' are expected to be awesome, considering director Atlee has an ear for music as a reputed Tamil filmmaker," a source commented.
'Jawan' also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Yogi Babu.
