'Puli-Meka' started streaming on ZEE5 on February 23. The eight-episode series stars Lavanya Tripathi, Aadi Saikumar, Goparaju Ramana, Siri Hanmanth, Raja Chembolu and Noel Sean.
A key feature of the investigative thriller is that, in the fourth episode, it is revealed that Lavanya's character herself is a serial killer. It comes as a twist because it is she who is investigating the serial killings in the town, thereby actively misleading the police department to shield herself.
The plot twist reveal has been done to attract more viewership. Writer Kona Venkat, who is also its showrunner, is also one of the producers of the show.
Produced by ZEE5 and Kona Film Corporation, the series is Lavanya's OTT debut. Helmed by Chakravarthy Reddy K, its cinematography is done by Ram K Mahesh. Production Design is by Brahma Kadali. The show is edited by Chota K Prasad.
