The pre-release event of 'Hi Nanna' was held in Vizag on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Nani greeted Vizagites and suggested that his bond with the city has always been special. "No matter which genre of film I have dabbled in, those films played extremely well in Vizag," he added.
In his fervent speech, the Natural Star was generous enough to wish almost all noteworthy releases of December, including his most potent competitors. 'Hi Nanna', directed by newcomer Shouryuv, will grace the theatres on December 7.
The 'Dasara' actor further said, "December is the new Sankranthi. It is a month of exciting movie releases. 'Hi Nanna' is the kind of film that will stay in your hearts forever. The characters played by me, Mrunal Thakur and Baby Kiara will be remembered for long. This is not a heavy-duty melodrama. It gives an adrenaline rush and will leave you with welled-up eyes. I am proud of the debutant director, Shouryuv. Producers Mohan Cherukuri and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala have made a great film. Hesham Abdul Wahab's BGM is magical. Sanu John Varghese's cinematography has lent a magical vibe."
Shruti Haasan has done a special song in the movie. "Besides, there are quite a few surprises in 'Hi Nanna'," the 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor assured.
Mrunal of 'Sita Ramam' actor said, "Yashna is the name of my character in 'Hi Nanna'. The audience here have embraced me as a Telugu woman. 'Hi Nanna' has been an incredible experience. I got to meet my best friend, Kiara (the child artist)."
