Kollywood filmmaker Mohan Raja has revealed that his 2015 action thriller 'Thani Oruvan' (2015) was first pitched to Prabhas. The Tamil hit was later remade in Telugu by Ram Charan as 'Dhruva'.
Prabhas was given a narration sometime in 2014. At that time, he was inclined to do a love story, not a cop story. That's why the actor declined the offer.
Mohan Raja later wanted to narrate a love story to Prabhas but he got busy with Tamil films. The association between the duo never materialized.
Prabhas was already doing 'Baahubali: The Beginning' at that time. Probably, he also finalized Sujeeth's 'Saaho' by the time Mohan Raja met him. 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' was also to be made after the release of the first part. Prabhas must have resisted doing an action thriller after three heavy movies. Maybe, that's why he asked Mohan Raja for a love story. In the event, Prabhas did 'Radhe Shyam', a love story with no action set pieces.
