It is known that 'Dangal' fame Nitesh Tiwari is directing a film based on the epic Ramayana. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are its lead pair. Yash is reportedly playing Ravana in it. Yesterday, it was reported that Yash's banner Monster Mind will co-produce the magnum opus alongside Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Team.
And the latest news that has emerged from Bollywood circles is that Hollywood studio Warner Brothers might also join the project. If this happens, it might change the way event films are produced in India in the future. Already, there are talks that a Hollywood studio will be on the production front pertaining to the SS Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu movie.
Hollywood banners don't lend their names unless they are convinced that a clear pathway is there for them. Pre-production, production and post-production have to be completed as the blueprint set out by the makers right at the start.
