The Telugu box-office will witness a slew of releases on May 3. Here is the list of new releases that are coming up:
'Aa Okkati Adakku': Starring Allari Naresh as the hero, the film is distributed by Asian Suresh Entertainment in the Telugu States. The family entertainer features Faria Abdullah as the heroine. Debutant producer Rajiv Chilaka has worked with composer Gopi Sundar. Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever has a role. Vennela Kishore will also be seen.
'Prasanna Vadanam': Written and directed by newcomer Arjun YK, the film is led by Suhas. Also featuring Rashi Singh, Nandu, Tamil actor Nitin Prasanna, Sai Shweta and Kushalini, this one is a suspense thriller.
'Krishnamma': Starring Satya Dev in the lead, the film is directed by VV Gopala Krishna. Kaala Bhairava (music) and Sunny Kurapati (cinematography) have worked on the project. Its trailer will be out soon. Its success is crucial for the 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya' and 'GodFather' actor.
'Jithender Reddy': Director Virinchi Varma's political drama is led by actor Rakesh Varre. Vaishali Raj, Rhea Suman, 'Chatrapathi' Sekhar, Subbaraju and Ravi Prakash are playing different roles. With cinematography by VS Gnanashekar, the film has music by Gopi Sundar. Bankrolled by Muduganti Ravinder Reddy of Muduganti Creation, this is a period drama.
'Sabari': Starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the protagonist, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. It is produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla of Maha Movies. Anil Katz has directed it.
