Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar today made news by turning up at his allotted voting booth even before it was opened. He was the first actor from the Tamil film industry to cast his vote. The popular actor was seen at the polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur to cast his vote.
Tamil news channels today reported that Ajith reached the polling booth at 6:40 am and waited until the polling booth opened 20 minutes later. The pics have gone viral.
Columnist K Balakumar said that the weather in Chennai is so atrocious that even Ajith was forced to discard his blazer while turning up to vote. "He usually comes to the booth as if he were attending a wedding reception," he observed.
On the film front, Ajith will next be seen in 'Vidaa Muyarchi', which is produced by Lyca Productions. It co-stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and Regina. He is also doing 'Good Bad Ugly' with Mythri Movie Makers. Its budget is said to be Rs 150 Cr.
