YSRCP MLA Grandhi Srinivas today claimed that Megastar Chiranjeevi has been lately pandering to Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan for a reason.
"In the past, when Chiranjeevi called on Jagan Mohan Reddy to request some measures for the growth of the Telugu film industry, he had to fold his hands before the Chief Minister. Pawan Kalyan couldn't tolerate it. He made his fans boycott Chiranjeevi's movies. Owing to this, one of the movies of Chiranjeevi didn't register even decent openings. These days, Chiranjeevi is attempting to get into the good books of his younger brother to ensure that such boycott calls are not made in the future. Recently, he donated Rs 5 Cr to the Jana Sena Party so that his next movie doesn't become a flop," Srinivas added.
Srinivas unwittingly acknowledged the popularity of Pawan, the latter's fans are arguing.
Elections are due to the held in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in May.
