'KGF' and 'Salaar' director Prashant Neel reportedly was at Vijay Deverakonda's Hyderabad residence on Monday. A pic of the 'Arjun Reddy' actor's manager with the celebrated director has surfaced online.
While it is easy to jump to conclusions, nothing can be conclusively said as of now. VD is going through a difficult phase in his career, with 'Family Star' bombing at the box office recently. He is scheduled to start shooting for a movie with 'Jersey' director Gowtam Tinnanuri. After the failure of 'Family Star', Tinnanuri's movie could face budgetary constraints. Sithara Entertainments' S Naga Vamsi is said to be recalibrating the budget blueprint of the untitled movie.
A few years ago, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor was supposed to collaborate with 'Pushpa' director Sukumar. The project remains a non-starter and it might never take off at all.
Meanwhile, Neel is scheduled to do 'Salaar 2' with Prabhas. The film could go on the floors next year.
