A young couple in their early 20s tied the knot right while the movie was being screened inside a theatre in Hyderabad. In a video that went viral, the couple's friends could be seen celebrating their union by showering 'akshintalu' on them.
Director Krishna Vamsi has reacted to the development with a sense of shock. As someone who genuinely respects traditions, the filmmaker indicated that the act of the two youngsters is a mockery of established wedding rituals. "This is not right. We should not insult, abuse, or ridicule our great culture and tradition. Please, I beg you not to do this," the director, known for several iconic movies in the 1990s, wrote, offering counsel.
