Recently, Tollywood media reports said that star heroine Janhvi Kapoor may have bagged a new Telugu movie, opposite Natural Star Nani. The reports claimed that the project will be directed by 'Dasara' fame Srikanth Odela.
Turns out that the gossip is false. Nani himself, in an interview, clarified that nothing of that sort has transpired. "I don't know how the rumor took shape," the actor added.
The daughter of Sridevi is doing Jr NTR's 'Devara'. She is also going to shoot for Ram Charan's 16th movie, to be directed by Buchi Babu Sana of 'Uppena' fame. Both these projects are pan-Indian ones originally made in Telugu.
Nani awaits the release of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' on August 29. Directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by DVV Danayya, the film co-stars SJ Suryah, Sai Kumar, and Priyanka Mohan. Advance ticket bookings are open on BookMyShow.
