It is known that a 35-year-old woman named Revathi was killed in a stampede outside a single screen in Hyderabad minutes before the start of a benefit show of 'Pushpa 2' on Wednesday. The woman's 9-year-old son was seriously injured in the incident.
Following an uproar, a case was filed against the theatre's management. The management has been booked for "criminal negligence".
Another case has been booked against Allu Arjun and his security team for "triggering the chaos" outside the theatre. On their part, the local police have stated that no lapses, prima facie, were detected on the part of Bunny's security team. They took all the care possible to avoid any melee.
Bunny Vasu, producer and Allu Arjun's aide, paid a visit to the hospital where the deceased woman's son is undergoing treatment. Financial support has been provided.
Meanwhile, Mythri Movie Makers has issued a condolence message. "We are extremely heartbroken by the tragic incident during last night’s screening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the young child undergoing medical treatment. We are committed to standing by them and extending all possible support during this difficult time," the production house stated on X.
