Kiran Abbavaram has recently been quoted as saying that he would like to wield the megaphone for a Power Star Pawan Kalyan movie when he becomes a director. The 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha' and 'Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini' actor has since denied the rumour.
His team said that he never made any such assertion. While it is true that Kiran wants to become a director someday (much like some of his colleagues in the industry), his focus is going to be on acting for the next many years.
The 'SR Kalyanamandapam' actor did movies such as 'Rules Ranjann' and 'Meter' last year. "I have already taken a break of six months. I am focused on my future films getting the execution right. The script works have been done with greater care. 'Meter' was a misfire because its treatment and elevations were above my range," Kiran said last year in an interview.
