Chiranjeevi's wife Surekha today turned a year older. On the special day, she announced that she was venturing into the food business. Athamma’s Kitchen is the name of her ready-to-eat food business where delicious South Indian dishes will be sold. Travellers, students, and NRI communities are its target customer segment.

Upma, Pulihora, Pongal and Rasam, among others, will be sold as packaged items. Curated by Upasana, the business aims to "dispel stereotypes through the celebration of shared traditions, bringing together hearts and taste buds".
