Star director Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya Shankar today got engaged to Tarun Karthik, who is an assistant director. The groom has previously worked under Shankar for a couple of films. Shankar’s other daughter, Aditi Shankar, today put out the engagement pics on social media.
This is her second marriage. Aishwarya was married to a county cricketer named Rohit in 2021. Months later, a minor girl filed a sexual harassment case against a cricket coach named Thamarai Kannan. Rohit's name was dragged into this. Thereafter, Aishwarya and Rohit developed discord.
Shankar is doing two films simultaneously: 'Indian 2' and 'Game Changer'. The Ram Charan-starrer might be released in theatres in the first week of September.
