The YCP has targeted Nandamuri Balakrishna, alleging that he has been accused by three actresses of behaving inappropriately on sets of films. The ruling party's social media handles shared a video clip in which veteran actress Vennira Aadai Nirmala is seen talking about an incident involving a "big star".
In the video, Nirmala says that, back in 1975, during the shoot of a film, the particular hero kept banging on the door of her hotel room. He asked her to let her in. "'I won't do anything. I will just sleep by your side.' That's what he kept saying through the night," Nirmala said in the interview.
YCP alleged that she was talking about Balakrishna. The party alleged that Radhika Apte and Vichitra, too, have previously spoken of being harassed by Balakrishna.
So far, the TDP and Balayya have been silent about the YCP's social media post.
