Two film celebs today joined the Jana Sena Party. Comedian and political activist Prudhviraj and well-known dance master Jani are the ones. They were welcomed by party chief, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan himself into the fold of the 10-year-old political outfit.
"The inductions took place at a function held at the party's central office in Mangalagiri on Wednesday evening," a statement by the party said.
Prudhviraj was a supporter of YSRCP for years. He was a card-carrying member of the ruling party for years before getting disillusioned. On the other hand, Jani Master is new to politics. He has always admired Power Star for apolitical reasons. Given his inclinations, Prudhviraj will be active in political campaigning in the coming years. He was appointed as state secretary to YSRCP months before the 2019 elections. He later discharged his duties as the chairman of SVBC TV channel run by the TTD.
