Television actor Pavitra Jayaram hails from Karnataka. On Sunday, she was killed in a terrible road accident near Hyderabad. She is known for appearing in the TV serial 'Trinayani'.
The car she was travelling in hit a divider. Just as the four-wheeler hit the divider on the road, a bus approaching in the opposite direction rammed into the vehicle, killing her on the spot. Reports say that her girl cousin, the driver of the vehicle and a male actor have been grievously injured. The three individuals have been undergoing treatment.
Pavitra is more familiar to the Kannada audience than to the Telugu audience. 'Trinayani' is what made her popular among the Telugu TV serial watchers.
