Pawan Kalyan, Rajinikanth, and Aamir Khan are separated by industries and united by something common. The trio went on to do or are doing multiple films after deciding to quit acting.

In his latest interview, Aamir Khan stated that, sometime in 2020, he decided to call it quits. He wanted to stop acting altogether. By then, half of 'Laal Singh Chaddha' was yet to be completed. Aamir wanted 'LSC' to be his last acting endeavour. He didn't look after the works at his production house for a good six months. He wanted to spend time with his children, siblings and other family members for the rest of his life. His children, Junaid and Ira, and ex-wife, Kiran Rao, convinced him not to quit acting. After some deliberation, imagine what Aamir did? He started signing up for new films. And, so far, he has signed up for six acting assignments!

This is in tune with what Rajinikanth did after 'Baba' in 2003. 'Baba' was to be his last outing. After 'Chandramukhi' became a blockbuster, he never stopped. Shankar's 'Sivaji: The Boss' only made him give up on his retirement thoughts. Cut to 2024, he continues to act in films - both massy ones like 'Coolie' and dull ones like 'Vettaiyan'.

Pawan Kalyan's journey is well-known. While he sincerely wanted to quit films way back in the early 2010s, he couldn't. He continued to accept projects to make money for his political project.
