Sree Vishnu has started to be likened to acting stalwarts like Kamal Haasan by many Netizens. This sounds ridiculous to the core. Sree Vishnu is quite good in 'Swag' but is anything but our generation's Kamal Haasan.
The movie buffs holding such incredible opinions about the 'Samajavaragamana' actor are probably too young to have experienced Kamal Haansa's best phase on the big screen. Kamal's performances in rare roles like that of an old woman ('Bhamane Sathyabhamane'), an old man ('Bharateeyudu'), a handicapped man ('Sathyame Shivam') and an agonized Hindutva activist ('Hey Ram!') were world-class. Sree Vishnu doesn't come close to Kamal by any measure. He is yet to match the likes of Victory Venkatesh, forget Kamal.
Playing five different roles in 'Swag' doesn't mean Sree Vishnu measures up to Kamal Haasan's acting exploits in 'Dasavatharam'. One can be sure that Sree Vishnu himself finds these comparisons with a legend like Kamal Haasan plain embarrassing.
