Actress Bhagyashri Borse has bagged a pan-Indian film. Dulquer Salmaan, the actor of 'Sita Ramam' and 'Mahanati', is the male lead of this film, titled 'Kaantha'. To be helmed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the project will be bankrolled by Rana Daggubati, Swapna Dutt, and Dulquer Salmaan himself.
This is an interesting offer for Bhagyashri, whose debut film (Ravi Teja's 'Mr. Bachchan') was a colossal disaster. 'Kaantha', which could hit the cinemas in 2025, will offer the actress an opportunity to gain a foothold in Malayalam, where Dulquer is a superstar.
Although Bhagyashri has been in the news for rumouredly bagging projects opposite Vijay Deverakonda and Nani, nothing is official as yet. Dulquer Salmaan's 'Kaantha' is the only official one.
