Anjali opens up about failure of Game Changer

Actress Anjali was seen as Appanna's (Ram Charan's) doting wife in the recent Sankranthi release, Game Changer. The film, directed by Shankar, flopped at the box office.

The actress has opened up about the failure for the first time. "I am responsible only for my character. I did my job. If I have to talk about Game Changer flopping, I would need to do a separate 30-minute interview. The general audience I have spoken to told me they liked the movie. Everyone appreciated my performance in the film. It hurts bad when a film you spent your energies on doesn't do well," Anjali, known for big-ticket films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, commented.

While Anjali scored a flop in Telugu, this Sankranthi, her Tamil release did well. Madha Gaja Raja, starring Vishal in the lead, is a box office hit there. Its Telugu-dubbed version will be released on January 31 but it will most likely not enjoy any buzz, given its outdated vibes. Anjali apparently is yet to receive her remuneration for Madha Gaja Raja even though the film, which was completed 12 years ago, is minting money at the box office.
