Prithviraj Sukumaran has stated that Salaar 2 will commence its shoot after director Prashanth Neel completes his long-awaited project headlined by Jr NTR. The movie with the Devara actor will commence its shoot soon, most probably in February.
A few weeks back, media reports stated that Salaar 2 was shot for a few days. Some scenes which didn't involve Prabhas were reportedly shot. The full-fledged shoot will apparently take place in 2026, majorly.
Prithviraj Sukumaran also said that his presence in Superstar Mahesh Babu's movie with SS Rajamouli isn't confirmed. It appears that his inclusion in the movie is tentative.
The Mollywood actor is known for his versatility in movies like Aadujeevitham. Recently, he stated that Lyca Productions of 2.0 and Indian 2 fame wanted him to wield the megaphone for a Superstar Rajinikanth movie. He might do it in the future. He is currently directing L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal in the lead. The film will head to theaters on March 27.
