You are quite confident about 'Lucky Baskhar'. Why the early premieres?
We are extremely confident about the film, but we are also aware that Diwali might affect the first and second shows on the 31st. So, we have planned early premieres to negate that effect.
(Notably, 100 premiere shows are being held in the Telugu States on the 30th evening. Of this, 50 are in Hyderabad. On Day 1, 'Lucky Baskhar' has been bestowed with the highest number of shows in Hyderabad).
What can audiences expect from 'Lucky Baskhar''?
It's a character-driven family entertainer with thrilling elements. Dulquer Salmaan's performance is spectacular. The film delves into the heart of a con artist, exploring the human nature that drives him. The final 15 minutes are a real treat.
Isn't highlighting a con-artist risky?
The film focuses on his desperation, not glorifying his actions. He uses banking loopholes, not cheating people. We hope the audience will focus on the positive message of the film.
How does this film differ from 'SIR'?
While 'SIR' was a commercial package with educational reforms, 'Lucky Baskhar' is a pure character-driven film. It offers a unique cinematic experience without relying on fights or spectacular action.
Any updates on NBK109's title teaser?
We are aiming for a big surprise for NBK fans. The title teaser is taking longer due to extensive CG work. We will announce the release date soon.
With multiple films releasing on Diwali, how do you see the competition?
It's tough to get multiple screens for each film. Ultimately, word-of-mouth will decide the fate of each film. We wish success to all the films.
Your final thoughts on 'Lucky Baskhar'?
We are incredibly proud of the film and hope audiences enjoy it as much as we did making it.
