Young hero Sundeep Kishan and Surbhi starrer ‘Beeruva’ is all set for release on 23rd of January. Kanmani is the director. Usha Kiron Movies and Anandi Art Creations banner are jointly producing the film with prominent producer Ramoji Rao as producer. On this occasion Sundeep Kishan took some time to chat with the media about his upcoming release ‘Beeruva’. Here are the excerpts:
‘Beeruva’ title itself is very different. Tell us about the story?
Today, audiences are expecting entertainment along with new concept. ‘Beeruva’ is a blend of entertainment and new story. After ‘Venkatadri Express’ I signed for this film. It’s a good family entertainer. The story of the film revolves around Beeruva. Everyone will have some tastes and likes from childhood. Likewise, Beeruva is the best friend for hero Sanju in the film. Whenever he does any mistake in his childhood, he used to hide in Beeruva from his father. From the hole of it, the world appears to him in a different way. He comes to know his father’s love on him. Since then, ‘Beeruva’ becomes hero’s best friend. What does he do to win his love, with the help of that Beeruva is the rest of the story.
How was your feeling after listening to the script narrated by the director?
I usually visualize when I listen to any story. To say frankly, I had some doubt when director narrated me the point. I was not sure whether our opinions will match or not. But with the insistence of Gemini Kiran, I listened to the script. I was very impressed and accepted to act in the film without any doubt. We tried to present this new concept film in a commercial way. It’s beyond doubt that the film will stand out as a good film in my career. My uncle Chota K Naidu is the big strength for this film. He presented the film excellently. His hard work and talent will take the film to the next level.
You have bought the distribution rights. Right?
Yes. My friend Rajesh and I, bought the Guntur distribution rights of the film as I loved the script. I’m extremely confident that the film which is made with different concept will impress all sects of audience.
How was your working experience with director Kanmani?
Kanmani is a director, who had good clarity. He presented the film 10 times better than how he narrated the script. I am very happy with the way the film has shaped up. He can extract good acting skills from artists.
Tell us about Thaman’s music?
I’m very happy to be working with Thaman. ‘Beeruva’ is a commercial trading film. This type of films needs good music to impress family audience. His music will be a big plus for this film. The entire film goes on in a very energetic mode. I love 'Chinnadana…' song so much.
Tell us about Surbhi’s role.
This is the first film for Surabhi. She is a very dedicated actress. She played a soft oriented role like Bhoomika. She did a perfect justice to her role. She did tremendous job as expected.
How was your feeling when senior actor like Naresh given good compliments?
I am very happy that a senior actor like Naresh has complimented that I have good comedy timing. My special thanks to him. I used to watch his films in my childhood. I am happy that the comedy scenes between us worked out well.
You are getting complements like Sundeep is a golden hand and every heroine who played with you will go to the top range. Tell us about your feeling?
I’m really happy for that. All heroine who played with me are my best friends. I’m very happy that my best friends Regina, Rakul Preeth Singh and Rashi Khanna are in top range now.
Tell about your experience on working under two prestigious banners?
It is really a great experience working under two big banners. Earlier, Usha Kiran films and Anandi Arts have delivered many successful films. This is my second film with Anandi Art creations. I feel it like my home banner.
As a hero, what is your expectation on ‘Beeruva’?
I’m extremely confident that 'Beeruva' will become another 'Venkatadri Express' for my career. 'Venkatadri Express' boosted my confidence level as a hero and now I am sure that 'Beeruva' also gives such confidence.
Finally, tell us about your next projects?
Presently I’m doing a film titled 'Tiger'. It is not a mass entertainer, as being speculated. It goes on in a satirical mode. Hero named himself as 'Tiger' in a satirical way. It’s an action thriller film and the subject is very different which I have not touched till now. Meanwhile, I’m doing one Tamil film also. I’m doing an experimental role in that film.
