Raashi Khanna is extremely happy with her avtaar in the upcoming film Supreme. She disclosed today that she is playing role of a cop and the role comes with a dash of comedy. A chit chat with Raashi about Supreme....
Your role in Supreme...
I am a cop in this film. My character in this film comes with a touch of comedy. Supreme is a neat movie which will be loved for its comedy. I hope I will be loved for my comic timing. The first half of the movie is very funny.
Did you have to do fights ?
My introduction scene itself is a fight. I did good preparation for this role. Vijayashanthi’s film and some Hollywood films helped me a lot. Enacting this role was a challenge for me as I am very shy. But my director convinced me and I was game. I even lost some weight for this role.
Tell us more about Supreme?
It’s a lovely movie that can be watched with kids. A very emotional one too and there are some scenes that will make you cry. There is ample comedy in this film. First half of the film is loaded with laughter.
How was it to be paired with Sai Dharam Teja?
Sai Dharam is a good actor and very hard working. He emotes well and gets into the character he is enacting with ease.
Dancing for Andolam Hindolam, was it easy?
Oh no it was a big challenge. The original has Radha dancing superbly. Sai Dharam had to put in his 100 percent for this song. I am happy to say that I was equally good with him.
What are you upto in life generally?
I love movies. When I am not shooting I am into poetry. I have bought a house here and plan to settle down in Hyderabad. I kind of love this city. I also want to be a part of Kollywood, not keen on Bollywood though.
Future Projects?
A film with Ravi Teja might happen soon. Also I will be seen in Oxygen, opposite Gopichand.
