By God's grace, I have got two back-to-back Sankranthi releases. In 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', I had a smaller role relatively. I did the movie because I am a fan of Trivikram Srinivas. Although 'RRR' is the first movie that I accepted in Telugu, it was 'AVPL' that released first. The mannerisms of my character in 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' were designed by Trivikram garu.
I set my foot in Chennai in 1992 after completing my B.Sc. in Maths. I was recruited as a copy writer by a director because my handwriting is good. When Sun TV was launched in 1994, I became an Assistant Director for TV serials. I also directed a serial for Jaya TV. My first feature film as a director was a hit but the second one was a flop. I then became the Co-Director of 'Paruthiveeran'. Radhika Sarathkumar madam gave me some big offers later on the small screen. I acted in several films later and got recognition with films like 'Subrahmanyapuram'.
Support from Ravi Teja anna was great throughout the making of the film. He would prod me to improve myself constantly.
I am yet to watch 'Krack' with the audience here in the Telugu States. I watched it in a Chennai theatre and the applause was great.
I have got story ideas that deal with social issues. I will execute them as my directorials with whichever actor is ready to team up with me.
I happened to interact with Rajamouli sir during the making of 'Janda Pai Kapi Raju' in Goa. I have been an admirer of his films. I have been instructed not to talk about my character in 'RRR'.
I will be playing a role in the Telugu remake of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. I don't know what kind of role I have got in the movie. So far, only informal talks have happened. I have a role in 'Aakasavani', which is directed by Ashwin Gangaraju. I want to dub for my character in the movie.
