Vidya Balan has ruled the roost with several critical acclaimed female oriented films ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’ in Bollywood despite being a south India. For the first time after her marriage, the actress is coming out with a film titled ‘Bobby Jasoos’, made under the banner Reliance Entertainment. The film is hitting screens worldwide on July 4th. Hence Vidya Balan visited Hyderabad to promote her film. In a press conference held at Imax Theater in Hyderabad on June 20, Vidya Balan shared some of her thoughts. In Vidya Balan’s words, “Bobby Jasoos is a different conceptual heroine centric movie. However, it’s not a bold film like ‘Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’. I’ll be seen as a lady detective in 12 different getups. Major part of the film was shot in Hyderabad in locations like Sultan Bazaar, Panjagutta, Nampally and Kachiguda. Shooting took place for about 45 days. It’s a very good family film”.
“Being a south Indian, I’m always open to do films in the south. I did a Malayalam film. I would definitely do in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada too if I come across a good stories. I would feel very happy if I get an opportunity to work with Nagarjuna garu. Today, when I participated in Nagarjuna’s latest TV show ‘Evaru Koteeswarudu’ at Annapurna Studios, I was in awe with his fitness maintenance. I was amazed to see his physique maintenance even at this age,” Vidya added. Ali Fazal and Sandeep who also starred in ‘Bobby Jasoos’ participated in this press conference.
