Horror comedy genres of films, whether a remake or anything, are trending of late. Several films have come in that genre to encash the craze. Following the present trend Sarvantram Creations and Good Cinema Group have jointly brought a super hit Tamil film ‘Aranmanai 2’ to the Telugu audience as ‘Kalavathi’. Sri Javvaji Ramanjaneyulu is the presenter. The film has Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Poonam Bajwa, Soori, Kovai Sarala and few stars. Sunder C has directed the film which was made in horror comedy genre. The film is running successful and entered the second week with huge collections. Distributers are very happy with the collection that got for the film despite being the dubbed version.
An elated producers said, “Dubbing films which were delivered in the recent times were not successful. But ‘Kalavathi’ has successfully entered the second week with good collection in Telugu despite being the dubbed film. It brought festive atmosphere to the theatres with good openings. Though the film was released amidst big budget films, it is receiving crazy collections. The film has Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Poonam Bajwa, Soori, Kovai Sarala and few stars and all have given wonderful performance. Soori, Kovai Sarala and Manobala’s comedy has left audience in splits. We are thankful to the audience for making the film a big success.”
