‘Oopiri’ is the film with the great combination of King Nagarjuna, Karthi and Milky Beauty Tamanna. This Telugu Tamil bilingual film is being produced by prominent producer Prasad V Potluri and Kavin Anne under the banner PVP Cinemas. Young director Vamshi Paidipalli has directed this prestigious film. Meanwhile, this multi-starrer film is hitting screens on March 25. On this occasion Tamanna took some time to chat with the media about her upcoming release ‘Oopiri’. Here are the excerpts:

About her role in ‘Oopiri’, she described, “I played keerthi, PA to the billionaire, a well-educated and responsible girl. My character looks like a strong women. ‘Oopiri’ is not a remake. It was made with the inspiration of the French film ‘The Intouchables’. If the film was remade as it is like the original, our people will not accept. Some changes were made to suit the Telugu nativity. Actually, the film doesn’t need language. I have not watched the original film. My character was designed with lot of changes from the original.”

“I expressed to the director about my interest to dub my lines in Telugu. Vamshi garu immediately accepted. If my role in the film demands, you may see me dubbing my lines for my next films as well. Nagarjuna’s character is actually toilsome and hard. It’s not a simple thing to act with just expressions without using hands and legs. But, nagarjuna garu has taken it as a challenge. I’m sure many artists will get inspired by Nagarjuna. ‘Oopiri’ will take the Telugu cinemas to the next level,” she added.

About her role in ‘Baahubali 2’, Milky Beauty said, “My role in ‘Baahubali 2’ is very small. As of now, I don’t know when and where is the shooting. Being part of the magnum opus itself is great. I don’t bother whether my role is big or small.”

About her upcoming projects, she said, “I’m working for a Tamil film ‘Dharma Durai’ and ‘Baahubali 2’. I’m doing a trilingual film which is being made by Prabhu Deva.
