Superstar Rajinikanth and Malayalam Superstar Mammoottty starrer multi-starrer film ‘Dalapathi’ was a sensational hit film 1991. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film has created waves in South. Now, after so many years, another film is being made with the blockbuster title ‘Dalapathi’. This is the attempt with Sada and Babu as heroes.
Baburao Pedapudi is producing the film under Aadi Akshara Entertainments banner with Sada as director. The film that features Sada, Kavitha Agarwal, Babu and Priyanka in the lead roles, has completed shooting part. Yajamanya is giving musical scores. Baburao is producing the film without compromising in terms of budget.
On this occasion, director Sada said, “The film ‘Dalapathi’ is being made as an action and family entertainer with distinct story. At present, post-production works are going on. We are confident that audience will encourage us by making the film success. The film has cinematography by Jai and it will stand out as highlight for the film. Visuals provided by Jai will thrill audience for sure.”
Producer Baburao said, “I was very much impressed by the story narrated by the director Sada and therefore came forward to produce this film. Director Sada has carved out the film ‘Dalapathi’ more wonderfully than how he narrated. Shooting part has been completed. We have watched rushes and it came out excellently. I am sure songs composed by Yajamanya will impress everyone. We are extremely confident that this ‘Dalapathi’ will become big success like yesteryears Rajinikanth’s ‘Dalapathi’. I wish and hope that audience will encourage our first attempt by making the film a big success.”
