Priyanka Naidu in the lead role, ‘Ananganaga Oka Durga’ directed by Prakash Pulijala, has completed all formalities and is getting ready for release soon. Rambabu Naik has produced the film with Gaddampalli Ravinder Reddy as presenter. The film touches upon the issue of women’s safety. The story of the film is about a lady who fights on violence against women mentally and physically. On the eve of film’s release the film unit has arranged premier shows for cine and political celebrities at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. Power minister of Telangana, Jagadeeswar Reddy graced the occasion as chief guest. Devarakonda MLA Ravindra Naik, director N Shankar and the film unit members were present at the show.
On this occasion, the film’s director Prakash Pulijala said, “The film has been made with the inspiration of ‘Pratighatana’ and ‘Osey Ramulamma’. Discrimination against girls and women even in the developing world is a devastating reality. Even in the developed countries, we see girls have been sold. The film depicts where the mistake is. Durga role in the film ‘Ananganaga Oka Durga’ is like a powerful weapon which fights against violence on women. All formalities related to the film have been completed and we are planning to release the film very soon.”
Producer Rambabu Naik said, “I am having interest on arts since my childhood. I used to participate actively in the programs based on social awareness. We have conducted many charity programs in national level. ‘Ananganaga Oka Durga’ touches upon the issue of women’s safety. I have personally seen the case a girl has been sold. My attempt is to eradicate such system. My special thanks to Minister Jagadeeswar Reddy garu for attending to watch the show.”
On this occasion, director N Shankar said, “Making films on social awareness is appreciable. ‘Ananganaga Oka Durga’ touches upon the issue of women’s safety.
