Former cricketer Sreeshanth, Nikki Galrani and Pearle Maaney starrer adventurous thriller ‘Team 5’ has completed the shooting part simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages and is getting ready to release on July 1. Suresh Govind is making his debut as director. Raj Zacharias is producing the film under Celebs and Red Carpet banner. Interesting thing is that Gopi Sunder, who provided wonderful music to ‘Oopiri’, ‘Premam’ and ‘Majnu’ and to the latest film ‘Ninnu Kori’, has composed soundtrack for the film. Sreeshanth, who carved a special image for himself as a bowler and cricketer in Indian cricket history, is debuting as an actor through this film. He will be seen as bike racer.
On the eve of film’s release, producer Raj Zacharias said, “Former cricketer Sreeshanth, who carved a special image for himself as a bowler and cricketer in Indian cricket history, will earn fame as an actor as well through ‘Team 5’. The film has been made as an adventurous sports thriller. Sreeshanth has given wonderful performance with ease as a racer. I am sure the film will be a good launching film for Sreeshanth. Entire film runs with the backdrop of bike racing. Apart from sports, the film is loaded with all elements like action, mass and love. I am sure the film will impress all sects of audience. A film with the backdrop of bike racing is the first time ever in the film industry. ‘Team 5’ has been made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages, has completed all formalities including censor and received ‘U’ certificate. The film was shot extensively in Goa, Bangalore and Australia without compromising in any aspect. Gopi Sunder’s music will take the film to the next level. We are making preparations to release the audio through Madhura Audio company shortly.”
