'Adipurush', which will head to theaters on 22 August 2022, is currently not on the floors due to the lockdown in Maharashtra. Its director, Om Raut, has spoken to a daily and gave some updates about the film.
Raut, known for the Hindi film 'Tanhaji', said that he has done extensive research on the Ramayana in order to depict the mythology accurately. He doesn't want to court controversies.
Almost 30% of the shoot is already over. Prabhas participated in the shoot for a few days. Saif Ali Khan, who is playing Ravana, too, took part in it.
Kriti Sanon is playing Sita in this film. More details about the VFX-dominant film are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
