Stylish star Allu Arjun's much-awaited film Pushpa has resumed shooting. They will have a 30-day-long schedule in Hyderabad with safety measures in place.
Now, the latest we hear is director Sukumar is said to be taking a big risk by making Sunil play the full-length villain in the first instalment of Pushpa. In Ravi Teja starrer Disco Raja, the ace actor played the antagonist, but his role didn't work out well.
So far, Sunil is known to the Telugu audience for his comedy roles. Although he tried negative shades in a couple of films, most of the Telugu audience may still not see him as a complete villain.
But, the director deciding to showcase Sunil as a menacing villain is surprising some audiences. It remains to be seen will the audience accept Sunil as a villain in Pushpa.
Pushpa will be released in Telugu along with Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.
