Last November, scenes involving Vijay Deverakonda and Mike Tyson were shot in the US. The Puri Jagannadh-directed sports actioner is in the news because Tyson has completed dubbing for his character.
Tyson is said to be happy about 'Liger', which is hitting the cinemas on August 25 this year. The international star has bulked up the film's appeal among a section of the multiplex audience in India.
Besides a number of foreign fighters, the film will be rich in scale. Produced by Puri connects and Dharma Productions, its cinematography is by Vishnu Sarma. Kecha from Thailand is mounting stunts.
Vijay and Puri, meanwhile, have embarked on 'Jana Gana Mana'. The film is yet to go on the floors. It is an August 2023 release.
