The trailer of 'Liger' was today released after a road rally in Hyderabad. Hundreds of Vijay Deverakonda's fans turned up for the event. The actor, his director Puri Jagannadh, producers Karan Johar-Apoorva Mehta duo, and actress Ananya Panday were visibly touched by the overwhelming response.
VD promised a dekko on August 25, the movie's release date. "As I said, it is going to be an 'Aag laga denge' moment. The country is going to witness a shaking experience," the actor said. He was humble enough to admit that his previous film was not memorable. "Regardless of the fact that I have been absent from the scene for two years, your love for me hasn't dwindled," the 'Geetha Govindam' star said. He pleased the fans of Puri Jagannadh by mouthing the 'Eppudu Vacham Annadi Kaadu, Bullet Digindaa Ledaa' line from 'Pokiri'. The actor hates dancing but he has done so in 'Liger' for the sake of his fans.
Karan Johar used the word 'rocking' for the film, Vijay and his fans. "Everybody has to come over to watch the movie on August 25. You all are invited," the producer added.
Puri Jagannadh predicted that Vijay is going to be the next big thing in the country and in the cinema industry.
