It has been rumoured that actor Suriya will be directed by Venky Atluri. This multi-lingual release will be produced by S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments.
The project is now official. The Kanguva actor broke the news during Retro's pre-release event on Saturday. He shook Venky's hands on the stage amid cheers by spectators in the auditorium.
Producer Naga Vamsi said that it is an honour to be associated with Suriya. "Can’t wait to bring this special film to all of you," he added. Venky Atluri has delivered two back-to-back hits for the banner: Dhanush's SIR and Dulquer Salmaan's Lucky Baskhar. The director-producer duo is now on a hat-trick.
Sithara Entertainments is also releasing Retro in theatres on May 1st in Telugu. Suriya is in Hyderabad currently for promotions. Retro co-stars Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Joju George.
