Amidst criticism that the ticket prices for 'Ghani' are too high in Telangana, here comes a piece of welcome news. The Telangana government today brought down the price of tickets for the Varun Tej-starrer. The same is expected to aid the film's openings when it hits the cinemas on April 8.

As per the new revision, Multiplexes can charge only Rs. 200 (excluding GST) per ticket. On the other hand, single screens can charge Rs.150 (including GST) per ticket. The revision of ticket rates has been welcomed by the audience on social media platforms.

'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' is the only big Telugu film at the box office. By April 8, it will have been two weeks since its theatrical release. The SS Rajamouli directorial is not expected to affect 'Ghani'. The youthful sports actioner will be preferred by the audience if the 'word of mouth' is positive.

Directed by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, 'Ghani' has music by Thaman.
