OG, starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the role of a gangster, is yet to lock its release date. Its first song is titled Firestorm.
In his latest interview, music director Thaman has stated that the song will be out on the very day the film's shoot resumes. Now, this could mean that the song release is a couple of months away.
Firestorm is rendered by Tamil actor Simbu, who recorded the song for Pawan Kalyan's film in September last year. It was music director Thaman's call to borrow his offbeat voice for the song. Out of immense respect for the Deputy CM of AP, Simbu didn't charge any remuneration. Since DVV Entertainment and director Sujeeth requested him to accept their fee, Simbu accepted it and used the amount as a donation for the CM Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
'OG', starring Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj and others, went on the floors in 2022.
