'Akhanda', which was released in theatres on December 2 last year, has had a dream run at the box office. The Balakrishna-starrer is in the news because Disney+Hotstar has locked its post-theatrical streaming date.
The Boyapati Srinu directorial will stream on Hotstar from January 21. "We are glad to inform you that Akhanda will premier on 21st Jan, 2022. Stay tuned for more updates," the OTT platform said. 'Pushpa: The Rise', on the other hand, will stream in South Indian languages on Amazon Prime from January 7.
