'Maayon' is an upcoming movie starring Sibi Sathyaraj as the hero. The movie is hitting the cinemas on July 7. Mamidala Srinivas of Movie Max recently acquired the Telugu release rights of the movie.
Speaking at the pre-release event of the visual extravaganza the other day, writer K Vijayendra Prasad of 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' fame said, "The teaser/trailer are highly impressive. Sibi has chosen the right genre by doing a mythological thriller. The entire team, especially the director and producer, have worked really hard to bring this product out."
Director Kishore S said, "This film is going to be an amazing visual experience. We have refused to accept OTT offers because 'Maayon' is best watched in a theatre. Made on an uncompromising budget, the film is high on content."
Hero Sibi said, "I admire Vijayendra Prasad garu's writing a lot. Coming to 'Maayon', I have played an archaeologist in it. I hope the audience watch our movie in theatres and bless us all."
Satyaraj said, "I thank the Telugu audience for always accepting my work. My son Sibi needs your blessings now."
The cinematography has been done by Ram Prasad. Tanya Ravichandran, Radha Ravi, KS Ravikumar, Hareesh Peradi, and Bagavathi Perumal have played different roles.
