As expected, 'Acharya' is heading to an OTT release less than a month after its theatrical release. The movie, for which Koratala Siva wielded the megaphone, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from May 20.
"They call him Acharya because he always teaches them a lesson," the streaming giant tweeted today, making the announcement.
When it was released last month, the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan starrer generated bad revenues. The stale, spiritless and unenergetic movie was rejected by all sections of the audience.
Starring Sonu Sood and Jisshu Sengupta in negative roles, the movie's story was set in the fictional town of Dharmasthali.
