Disney+ Hotstar is ready with a Telugu-language web series. Titled '9 Hours', the same has been created by Krish Jagarlamudi, who is its show-runner. The news is that the series will start streaming on the OTT platform from June 2.
On Monday, Mega Prince and 'Ghani' actor Varun Tej shared its trailer. Ajay plays a prisoner, while Taraka Ratna and Vinod Kumar are cops. Madhu Shalini, Ravi Varma, Preethi Asrani, Ankith Koyya, Jwala Koti, and Monica Reddy have different roles.
The story of the series revolves around three prisoners who break out of jail and try to loot three banks. They put the lives of civilians at risk. It is up to the cops to save the situation from snowballing out of control.
Niranjan Kaushik and Jacob Verghese have helmed the series. First Frame Entertainments' Rajeev Reddy Y and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi have produced it. Shakthi Kanth Karthick has taken care of the music department. Manojh Reddy of 'Gatham' fame is its cinematographer.
