The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is considered the biggest awards show feting versatile talents from the southern film industry. This year's SIIMA event is going to be a blast, considering that Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil cinema brought out some of the best films in 2022.
The news is that NEXA has become the much-awaited event's title sponsor. The automotive brand has been described by its promoters and the SIIMA team as a brand that has "always been at the forefront of innovations and curating impeccable experiences that not only impress but inspire."
In a statement on Friday, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd said that the collaboration with the SIIMA franchise is an "exciting moment" for the company.
The organizers said that NEXA and SIIMA have a commonality. "They both are symbolic of challenging the status quo to create experiences that are new and inspiring. NEXA and SIIMA 2023 are looking forward to the awards event in Dubai this September," the promoters added.
'Baahubali' actor Rana Daggubati is associated with the event this year. 'Sita Ramam' actress Mrunal Thakur is also on board. "I am looking forward to performing on the global stage of SIIMA in UAE," she added.
